Job Title

Travel RN – ICU (Days) / 13-Week Contract

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: August 10, 2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed ICU with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio (1:3 for PCU boarders; 1:1 for higher acuity patients including IABP, CRRT, and open heart)
  • Perform and assist with procedures including rapid sequence intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, bronchoscopy, and chest tube placement
  • Manage patients on ventilators, vasopressors, and arterial lines, applying appropriate ICU clinical skills
  • Utilize EPIC for all clinical documentation
  • Float to PCU or serve as a sitter anywhere in the inpatient setting per unit floating policy
  • Participate in weekend rotation, completing 3 weekend shifts within each 4-week period
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (strong candidates with 1 year may be considered)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Utah or through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Proficiency with ventilators, vasopressors, arterial lines, and restraint protocols
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health records
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with IABP, CRRT, or open heart post-operative care
  • Outgoing, team-oriented personality with strong communication skills
  • Comfort floating to PCU or sitter assignments as needed
