Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in San Antonio, TX

Travel Registered Nurse – CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit)

San Antonio, Texas

Contract / Travel – 13 Weeks | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular ICU setting, including post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-cardiac catheterization patients
• Manage and monitor hemodynamic devices including arterial lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, IABP, Impella, and ECMO
• Perform ventilator management for critically ill cardiac patients
• Utilize Meditech for clinical documentation and order entry
• Float to other units as required per facility floating policy
• Adhere to facility attendance, badging, and dress code policies including navy scrubs

• Active, unrestricted Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring including Swan-Ganz catheters and arterial lines
• Ventilator management experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required

• Experience with IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
• Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
• Familiarity with Meditech charting and order entry

• Work in a high-acuity cardiovascular ICU environment with exposure to advanced cardiac support devices and complex post-surgical patient populations
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a defined 13-week contract at a well-established medical center in San Antonio, Texas
