    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in San Francisco, California, 94143!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – ICU (Float Pool)

    Location

    San Francisco, CA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Rotating Day/Night Shifts (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Day: 7:00–19:30 / Night: 19:00–7:30

    Key Responsibilities
    • Independently manage complex critical care patients including those requiring advanced mechanical circulatory and multi-organ support devices
    • Provide bedside ECMO care as primary RN responsibility, including management without dedicated bedside perfusion support
    • Float to all ICUs, TCUs, Emergency Department, and PACU as assigned within the float pool model
    • Operate and monitor advanced support devices including IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and Pulmonary Artery Catheters
    • Deliver care to cardiovascular critical care populations including heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and transplant recovery patients
    • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
    • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Minimum 4 years of recent ICU experience
    • ECMO experience within the last 6 months to 1 year, including experience as bedside RN with primary ECMO responsibility
    • CVICU, CTICU, or CCU experience
    • Teaching hospital experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with VA ECMO, VV ECMO, and V-PA ECMO configurations
    • Experience with CRRT (NxStage), IABP (Teleflex), Impella, and Ventricular Assist Devices
    • Experience with cardiothoracic surgery recovery, heart and lung transplant recovery, and bridge-to-transplant patients
    • Experience simultaneously managing multiple support devices (e.g., ECMO + CRRT, ECMO + Impella) and academic medical center background
