Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Weekend hours as needed (every other weekend) | On-call as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed ICU/CCU unit serving patients of all ages, including common diagnoses such as respiratory failure
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2–3 in accordance with unit standards
• Utilize Cerner EHR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Float as required within the facility; float ratio up to 1:6
• Adhere to all required dress code standards; scrubs of traveler's choosing (no casual wear)
• Maintain all required certifications (ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB, and NIH Stroke Scale) — all certifications must be active prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure meeting all education, licensure, and certification requirements to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina
• Minimum 1–2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Active ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required prior to start
• Proficiency with Cerner EHR
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing high-acuity ICU patients
• Familiarity with respiratory failure management and related critical care protocols
• Comfort working in a smaller community hospital setting with a collaborative team environment
