Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM) | Onsite | 26-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting within an acute care hospital
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float between like units within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
- Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling and be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid California RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- Trauma Level II experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Willingness to float between like units and/or nearby affiliate facilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care environment
- Familiarity with acute care hospital workflows and high-acuity patient populations
