Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Scranton, PA

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a standard patient ratio of 2:1, with a surge plan of up to 3:1
• Work within a 20-bed ICU unit, delivering high-acuity nursing care
• Float to the Telemetry unit as needed
• Document and manage patient records using Cerner EMR
• Adhere to unit dress code (navy scrubs) and facility policies

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (or compact equivalent) valid in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to float to Telemetry unit
• Availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Cerner EMR
• Open heart surgery experience
• Impella device experience
