Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed ICU setting with an average daily census of 19, caring for adult and geriatric populations
Manage complex diagnoses including ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-op complications, cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, and ESRD on CRRT
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2–3, with the possibility of a third patient assignment as census requires
Utilize unit systems including Pyxis, Epic, and SBAR for documentation and patient management
Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling requirements, including every other weekend and applicable major holidays falling within the assignment period
Required Qualifications
Active RN licensure in GA or a Compact state, required at time of submission
Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (first-time travelers accepted)
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start
Ability to complete all compliance documents and core onboarding items within required deadlines
All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule changes permitted post-offer or on-site
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience with CRRT management in an ICU setting
Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
Experience managing high-acuity diagnoses such as cardiogenic shock or multi-organ failure
