Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting for an adult to geriatric population
Manage and monitor patients with diagnoses including ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, Cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, post-op complications, and ESRD on CRRT
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2–3, with the possibility of a third patient assignment as census requires
Utilize unit systems including Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework
Float within the facility within scope of practice as needed
Work every other weekend and adhere to holiday scheduling requirements per contract terms
Required Qualifications
Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (first-time travelers accepted)
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required prior to start
Ability to meet full compliance requirements, with all documents submitted by the Tuesday prior to start date
All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule changes permitted post-offer or post-start
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care setting
Familiarity with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
Experience managing patients on CRRT
