Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting managing diagnoses including ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, Cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, and ESRD on CRRT
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2–3, with the possibility of a third patient assignment as census demands
Utilize unit systems including Pyxis, Epic, and SBAR for documentation and patient management
Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
Adhere to holiday work expectations per contract terms, including coverage of major holidays that fall within the assignment period
Complete all compliance requirements, orientation modules, and onboarding documentation within designated deadlines
Required Qualifications
Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (first-time travelers accepted)
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start
Ability to work every other weekend
All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule changes permitted post-offer or during orientation week
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience with CRRT and management of complex multi-system diagnoses in an adult to geriatric population
Familiarity with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
Experience working in a high-census ICU environment with variable patient ratios
