Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Tarboro, NC

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 Hours/Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting during overnight shifts
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient information and care interventions using EPIC
• Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a valid Compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Must successfully pass required Relias competency exams upon booking (two attempts permitted; failure on the second attempt may result in pre-start cancellation)
• Must reside at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care setting
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in high-acuity environments
