Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (0700–1930, 36 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of critically ill patients in an ICU setting
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care activities in accordance with established standards
• Uphold and promote Standards of Nursing Practice within the unit
• Foster cooperation and effective communication among the interdisciplinary health care team
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the EPIC electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of one year of recent acute care RN experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Step-down unit experience
• Emergency Room (ER) experience
