Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care is delegated
- Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
- Monitor and maintain competency of clinical staff under supervision
- Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
- Demonstrated ability to assess and manage critically ill cardiovascular patients
- Strong clinical decision-making and patient safety skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience with staff supervision and delegation in an ICU environment
