Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Yakima, WA

Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ICU and Telemetry patients including those presenting with CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, CVA, DKA, and post-cath conditions
• Manage and monitor chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, femoral arterial sheaths, and TR bands
• Administer and titrate critical drips including diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitroglycerin, and heparin
• Support patients requiring BiPAP, blood product administration, and care following vascular, abdominal, and GI surgical procedures
• Float to ICU-level or lower acuity units throughout the facility as needed
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• At least one prior travel nursing assignment completed
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Experience with chest tubes, wound vacs, femoral arterial sheaths, and critical drip management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with arterial lines (Art lines)
• Experience with Impella and/or Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
