Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | 36 hours per week | Three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required | Variable shifts possible | No call required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established protocols
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation and medical records
Required Qualifications- Active Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Influenza vaccination (mandated by the State of Maine)
- Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with a wide range of critical care patient populations
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in high-acuity environments
