Job Summary:
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) in Tyler, Texas. This position involves providing specialized patient care in an intermediate care setting, supporting patient recovery and stability under the supervision of healthcare professionals. The role requires adaptability and clinical expertise to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); valid license in the state of Texas; minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an intermediate care or similar setting
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an Intensive Management Care Unit (IMCU), familiarity with Epic charting system, and prior travel experience preferred
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information:
- Prior experience with patients requiring cardiac telemetry, ventilator management, and wound care is advantageous
- All onboarding must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Modules are completed onsite during orientation and are non-billable, with hours factored into onboarding time
- Onsite support includes interdisciplinary collaboration with physical therapy, respiratory services, and radiology
