Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Pulmonary Thoracic / Intermediate Care – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedule varies. Holiday requirement includes 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).

Highlights:

• Intermediate care unit specializing in pulmonary and thoracic patient populations
• Diverse case mix including high-risk respiratory patients, cardiac thoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and head/neck surgery
• Patient acuity ranges from room air to BiPAP and Optiflow respiratory support
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in specialty required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility location

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Georgia or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Pulmonary Thoracic or Intermediate/Step Down nursing experience
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification preferred
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility
