Job Summary:
The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) nursing position is based in Denver, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The registered nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, providing health teaching and counseling, and executing therapy and treatment plans to support patient well-being.

Job Details:

  • Location: Denver, CO
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Active license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; ASN from an accredited School of Nursing; BLS through the American Heart Association; ACLS and NIH certifications; 1 year of nursing experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing; TNCC certification
  • Additional Information: The nurse may be required to float to other departments within the scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. On-call duty may be required during scheduled shifts.
