Job Summary:
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurse position in Augusta, Georgia. This role involves providing specialized patient care within the IMCU setting, supporting critical and acute care needs. The position requires the ability to work night shifts and participate in a float pool, offering flexibility in scheduling.
Job Details:
- Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Active Georgia registered nurse (RN) license or multi-state compact license
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), pass dysrhythmia test
- Experience with direct patient care, preferred experience in hemodynamic monitoring, vasopressor management, ventilator knowledge, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and at least 1 year of ICU experience
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; strong interpersonal and customer service skills; basic computer skills; critical thinking and evidence-based practice skills
- Additional Information:
- Will be part of float pool, providing coverage across units as needed
