Job Summary:
The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurse position is located in Lake Havasu City. This role involves providing care in a community hospital and regional referral center that is Joint Commission accredited. The IMCU nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care for adult and geriatric populations, including patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, post-CABG, and other acute respiratory and cardiac issues. The assignment begins on October 5, 2026, and concludes on January 3, 2027, with a schedule of 12-hour days.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current State License; 2 years of recent acute experience; no experience minimum specified but candidates should have relevant recent healthcare experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required for Medical Surgical and Telemetry units; Emergency Department holds float for admits
• Additional Information: No block schedule requests; 48-hour considerations are possible but not guaranteed. Orientation is weekly. The unit has 30 beds with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3. Responsible for adult and geriatric patient populations with conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, post-CABG, and others. Scrubs are acceptable attire, and the candidate must include a full submittal packet.
