Job Summary Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions, assessing patient health status, administering therapies, educating patients, and documenting care in accordance with regulatory guidelines. The position requires a qualified RN with experience in clinical nursing and the ability to work night shifts.
Job Details
Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; current RN license in the state of practice; BLS (AHA); ACLS (AHA); NIHSS; minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing; previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
Additional Responsibilities: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications; may need to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
Certifications & Licenses: Current license as a Registered Nurse; BLS; ACLS; NIHSS.
Special Skills: Nursing care, health assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment, patient referral, treatment plan review, clinical documentation, resource utilization, medical functions, registered nursing experience.
