Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care - $2,275 per week in Hagerstown, MD

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry & IMC Float Pool – Maryland

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland

Schedule: Float Pool assignment covering Medical/Surgical Telemetry and Intermediate Care (IMC) units; patient ratios 1:4 to 1:6; weekend shifts required (12 weekend shifts per contract); holiday coverage expected

Highlights:

• Float Pool role with rotation across Med/Surg, Telemetry, IMC, Observation, Trauma Surgical, Joint, Stroke, Palliative, Renal, ED Inpatient, Women's Health, and Bariatric Surgery units
• Diverse patient population including adults and geriatrics with conditions such as acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe CHF, MI, unstable angina, trauma, CVA, post-ICU/STICU, DKA, NSTEMI, and chronic trach/vent management
• Epic Electronic Medical Records system (recent experience mandatory)
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Advanced clinical experience with cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilator management, chest tubes, lumbar/neuro drains, blood products, and high-acuity patient care
• 13-week travel nursing assignment with structured orientation

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Maryland or multistate compact license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Minimum 2 years of recent IMC/PCU/Stepdown experience in a hospital setting (hard stop requirement)
• Recent Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6
• Comfortable floating across multiple specialty units from Med/Surg to IMC level care
• COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Two-step PPD required
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Previous charge experience preferred
