Job Summary:
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing patient care for a diverse patient population, including cardiac, neuro, and medical-surgical cases, with acuity level considerations. The selected candidate will be responsible for charge duties and engaging in unit support, including work involving students and new hires. This assignment begins on 10/19/2026 and continues through 01/02/2027, with orientation occurring every other Monday.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, active VA or Compact license required upon start, experience with charge responsibilities preferred, Cerner knowledge preferred, and a minimum of 2 years of work history with explanations for any work gaps over 90 days, Skills Checklist, and a copy of Nursys/license are required for submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge responsibility experience, Cerner proficiency.

• Float: Float rotation may be required (not explicitly required for this position).
• Additional Information:
  • Prior travel experience is required for all Centralized (CENTRA) positions.
  • The RN must work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Year's Day).
  • Up to 20-week assignments are available to support staffing during the holiday season, with limited RTO and the ability for the client to cancel up to 36 hours before an assignment due to census.
  • The unit has a mix of medical-surgical, tele, cardiac IMCU acuity patients, neuro, and CVA patients.
  • Orientation occurs every other Monday unless otherwise posted.
