Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• 13-week contract
• 12-hour variable day/night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float requirements include all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, which can be taken in hour increments as needed
• Work on a 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring
• Patient conditions include stable and weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Primary patients and insulin drips with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required with stepdown, intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: any color

The unit operates at a fast pace and requires nurses who are resilient, able to manage independently, and complete tasks in a timely manner. The facility provides comprehensive specialty support and maintains high standards for patient care across all inpatient units.
