Job Details
- Unit: IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit)
- Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour night shift
- Floating: Required
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Experience:2+ years IMCU/PCU experience
- Travel Experience: Must be documented on resume
- EMR:EPIC experience required
- Local Candidates: Accepted; local rates apply if within 75 miles
- Licenses: Active NY RN license plus all RN licenses listed/verified through Nursys
- Certifications: Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Driver’s License: Address should match the candidate’s demographics
Clinical Experience/Skills
The nurse should be comfortable caring for patients with:
- Neuro and cardiac conditions
- Trauma
- COPD and respiratory conditions
- DKA
- Sepsis
- MI
- CV stepdown
- Post-op patients
- Chronic ventilator patients
Equipment/skills: Temporary pacemakers, chest tubes, arterial lines (A-lines), BiPAP, Neptune Vapo, and ventilator patients.
