Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in an inpatient unit specializing in various medical disciplines, including Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Psychiatry. This role is focused in a setting that requires strong nursing skills and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the inpatient unit.
• Demonstrate the ability to float to various units as needed.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as required.
• Support patients with conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and cardiac rehabilitation.
• Utilize electronic medical records through EPIC effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current Med Surg experience.
• Must be willing to float to different units starting mid-February.
• Experience as a Charge RN is required.
• Experience with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and trauma care is highly valued.
• Current New Hampshire RN license or Compact license required.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Shift and Scheduling Requirements

• Night shifts with a 48-hour guarantee.
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required.
• Travelers may not take all holidays off; must work specified holiday blocks including Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Additional Requirements

• All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance.
• Candidates must have their own transportation, as public transportation is not available in the area.
