Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3264
$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
RN - IMC
Job Details:
• 13-week contract
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Contract end date falls on Sunday
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Float requirements include all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Low census eligible for 36 hours unbillable per contract - may be low censused in hour increments, typically in 4-hour increments
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Work with a 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry
• Patient population includes stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Manage primary patients and insulin drips
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required - firm requirement
• Stepdown, Intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted

The facility operates a Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with 36 beds, providing care for a diverse and complex patient population. The unit is a fast-paced environment that handles high-acuity cases including trauma, neurological conditions, and critical care patients, supported by a strong multidisciplinary team.
