Job Details
Position: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Nurse
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid New York Registered Nurse license, active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, up-to-date resume documenting 2+ years of experience in IMCU/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and travel experience, EMR experience with EPIC, driver's license matching demographics, and NURSYS report verification
Clinical Experience: At least 2 years of experience in IMCU or PCU setting
Specialty: Intermediate Care Unit with patient diagnoses including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions, and post-operative care
Patients: Adults, 18 years and older
Unit Specifics: Common diagnoses include COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, post-op recovery; equipment used includes temp pacers, chest tubes, A-lines, Bipap, Neptune Vaporizer, chronic vents (RT to assist)
Float: Float rotation may be required
Submission Requirements: Up-to-date resume, skills checklist matching specialty, drivers license with matching address, current licenses and RTO included at time of submission
