Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, IMCU/PCU – New York

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 48 hours per week. Floating to other units as needed. Block scheduling requests considered but not guaranteed.
Highlights:
64-bed Intermediate Care Unit with 15 designated neuro beds serving adult patient population
Diverse case mix including stroke, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions (COPD), DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients
Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and chronic ventilator patients
EPIC electronic medical records system
Minimum 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience required with documented stroke experience
Local and traveling candidates welcome
Requirements:
Active New York RN license (must be verified through NURSYS)
Minimum 2+ years of progressive care or intermediate care unit experience
Documented stroke patient care experience required
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
EPIC EMR experience required
Valid driver's license with current address
Specialty-specific skills checklist completion
Availability to work requested time off must be submitted at time of application
