Registered Nurse – Progressive Care (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU setting with a primary cardiac population
• Manage patients presenting with STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and cardiothoracic surgery (CTS) diagnoses
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3–4 in the progressive care unit
• Float to telemetry beds within the same unit to manage lower-acuity patients as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMCU experience in a similarly sized facility
• Documented progressive care unit experience must be reflected in work history
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac drip management in a high-acuity progressive care environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and lower-acuity cardiac patient management
• Experience caring for post-cardiothoracic surgery patients
