Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Progressive Care / Transplant unit requiring close monitoring and specialized treatment
• Manage post-surgical and medically complex patients as they transition from acute or critical care settings
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications while continuously evaluating patient conditions
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Valid, active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Proven clinical experience in a PCU, intermediate care, or stepdown setting
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for managing medically complex patients
• Commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative teamwork

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a transplant or specialized progressive care environment
• Familiarity with post-surgical patient management and care protocols
• Experience working night shifts in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting
