Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care in Bay City, MI

Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown / Progressive Care (Nights)

Bay City, MI

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

• Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to track vital signs, telemetry, and other critical patient metrics
• Perform regular patient assessments, recognize changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions or life-saving measures
• Administer complex medications, IV therapies, and titrate drips as ordered
• Provide specialized care for patients recovering from surgery, cardiac events, stroke, or other complex conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care and patient responses; educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit
• Active telemetry monitoring experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Active Michigan RN license
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)

• Experience caring for neurological patients requiring neuro checks
• Familiarity with ventilator patient care in a stepdown or progressive care setting
