Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an 18-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMU) with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
Manage stepdown-level patients including post-MI with sheath pull, ADHF, post-op vascular, GI bleed, and DKA
Titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips including Nitroglycerin, Neo, and Cardene per unit protocols
Monitor all patients on telemetry and independently read and interpret cardiac strips
Operate and manage BiPAP and CPAP respiratory equipment as needed
Float to other units as needed (PRN)
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Experience with stepdown or intermediate care level patients
Ability to independently read telemetry strips
Experience titrating vasoactive drips
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience with post-MI care including sheath pulls
Familiarity with BiPAP and CPAP management in a stepdown setting
Experience working with PCT-supported care teams
