Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotating (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC unit setting, with potential to float to additional units caring for the same patient population
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level cardiac and progressive care
- Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as part of ongoing patient monitoring
- Administer and manage medications safely in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care plans
- Participate in holiday coverage rotation as required by unit scheduling needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Stepdown or IMC specialty; travel experience may be considered
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license required at time of submission
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
- Active ACLS certification required
- Active NIHSS certification required
- Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation (maximum two attempts)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PCU/Progressive Care Unit experience
- 18 months of experience within a single facility location
