Contract | Day/Night Rotating | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/HVTI unit setting, with potential to float to additional units caring for the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate with an acceptable passing score
• Work at least every other holiday as part of scheduling expectations

Required Qualifications

• Permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent employment experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown or the specialty being applied for
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months is required; co-worker references will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU/Progressive Care experience strongly preferred
• Experience within a single location for the required specialty tenure is preferred, though not required
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm interpretation in a clinical setting
