Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC unit setting with potential to float to additional units caring for the same patient population
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations
- Rotate holiday coverage as required, working at minimum every other holiday
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Stepdown/IMC specialty; travel experience in the specialty is also acceptable
- Active and unrestricted Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
- Active ACLS certification required
- Active NIHSS certification required
- No open background case findings or license hits; all required certifications must be active with nothing pending
Preferred Experience / Skills- PCU/Progressive Care Unit experience
- 18 months of Stepdown experience within a single location
