Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC unit setting, with potential to float to additional units caring for the same patient population
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations
- Rotate holiday coverage as required per scheduling needs
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – permanent Ohio license or Compact State license required and must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Stepdown or IMC specialty; travel experience may be considered
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
- Active ACLS certification required
- Active NIHSS certification required
- Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum two attempts)
Preferred Experience / Skills- PCU / Progressive Care Unit experience
- 18 months of Stepdown experience within a single location
