Key Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to the care of patients within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
• Educate patients and significant others regarding care, treatment, and health management
• Accurately document patient care in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active or willing to obtain Oregon RN license prior to start
• Minimum 24 months of current Intermediate/Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMCU/Telemetry/Stepdown) experience required
• Acute care hospital experience required
• BLS certification (AHA) – must be willing to obtain if not currently active
• ACLS certification (AHA) – must be willing to obtain if not currently active
• Discipline-specific skills checklist required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a PCU, IMCU, Telemetry, or Stepdown unit setting
• Familiarity with comprehensive medical services across a broad patient population
