Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
- Document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Progressive Care, IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
