Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Step-Down unit setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level acute care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Document patient status, progress, and responses to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 18 months of RN experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down unit
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a long-term acute care (LTAC) environment
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills in an intermediate care setting
