Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care in Eureka, CA

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care across night shift rotations
• Float between sister facilities nearby the contracted location as needed
• Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of the assignment
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of IMC/PCU/Stepdown experience required
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Background must be clear; facility does not accept background hits
• 2 professional references required, covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years (Charge RNs and Leads accepted)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity progressive or stepdown care environment
• Demonstrated flexibility with scheduling and willingness to float to nearby facilities
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills in fast-paced clinical settings
