Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care in Florence, SC

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Holiday rotation required | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC/PCU setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including like units, consistent with expectations for staff nurses
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in emergency response teams as assigned during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Stepdown/IMC/PCU nursing experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted
• Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification preferred
• Experience charting in Epic
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
