Travel RN – Stepdown (IMC/PCU) – Nights

Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC unit with a 5:1 patient ratio
- Monitor and manage post-cardiovascular surgery patients through recovery
- Titrate cardiac drips including Nitroglycerin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Esmolol
- Manage patients on BiPAP and Airvo high-flow oxygen therapy
- Recognize and respond to signs of patient deterioration promptly and effectively
- Float to Med/Surg as required by unit needs
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arkansas or compact eligibility
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of Stepdown or IMC/PCU nursing experience
- Demonstrated experience with post-CV surgery patients and cardiac drip titration
Preferred Experience / Skills- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing patient priorities
