Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Nights

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Neuro Progressive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 4–5:1
- Serve in a charge nurse capacity as needed, overseeing unit operations and staff coordination
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Meditech EMR
- Float to other PCU and Med/Surg units as required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including PCTs and HUCs to ensure quality patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of PCU experience with demonstrated PCU skill competency
- Charge nurse experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficiency or ability to work with Meditech EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neuro competency or prior experience in a Neuro PCU setting
- Familiarity with a 19-bed progressive care environment
