Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Intermediate Care setting
Monitor and assess patients requiring step-down level care, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
Administer chemotherapy and provide oncology-focused nursing care in accordance with established protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Complete required learning modules and maintain compliance with all facility standards prior to and throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no encumbrances on state license
Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
Chemotherapy certification and/or oncology training and experience
Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
Valid driver's license to verify residency; Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
Flexibility with shifts, departments, and facility locations
PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
