Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite | Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity PCU setting with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, including management of multiple long-term patients
- Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
- Titrate IV drips and manage peripheral and PICC lines
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules as required
- Float to other campus locations as needed
- Complete unit-based orientation modules as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Active RN license in hand at time of submission
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
- Cardiac telemetry experience required
- Experience with PCU patient ratios (1:5) required
- EPIC EMR experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing complex or long-term PCU patients
- Familiarity with multi-campus health system environments
- Strong adaptability and flexibility with scheduling demands
