Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care with a primary focus on cardiac patients, including those with Congestive Heart Failure, Acute Coronary Syndrome, NSTEMI, and Arrhythmias
Monitor and manage patients with respiratory conditions such as COPD, Pneumonia, and Respiratory Failure
Interpret and respond to cardiac telemetry monitoring for assigned patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Float to other campus units as needed to support staffing requirements
Complete unit-based orientation modules as assigned
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
Cardiac telemetry experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience caring for patients with Heart Failure, NSTEMI, COPD, and Pneumonia in a stepdown or PCU setting
Travel nursing experience is a plus; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
