Travel RN – Stepdown Neuro (IMC/PCU)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 20-bed Neuro Progressive Care Unit serving adult and geriatric populations
- Care for patients with stable post-stroke conditions, stable post-neurosurgery status, telemetry monitoring needs, and general medical diagnoses
- Monitor and manage neuro-orthopedic surgical patients and overflow telemetry and medical patients
- Utilize Cerner EHR for documentation, order management, and patient records
- Float as needed to Medical and Telemetry units in accordance with unit float requirements
Required Qualifications- Active RN licensure in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Stepdown, Neuro, IMC, PCU, or similar acute care setting
- Experience with neurological and/or telemetry patient populations
- Proficiency with Cerner or comparable EHR system
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience caring for post-stroke and neuro-orthopedic surgical patients
- Familiarity with progressive care or step-down unit workflows and patient ratios
- Comfort floating to Medical and Telemetry units
