Provide progressive care nursing for adult and geriatric patients on a 20-bed Neuro Progressive Care Unit
Care for patients with stable post-stroke conditions, stable neuro-surgical recovery, and overflow telemetry and medical patients
Monitor and manage neuro-orthopedic surgical patients and neuro-medical stroke patients
Maintain a patient ratio of 5:1, delivering safe and effective bedside care throughout 12-hour night shifts
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Cerner EHR
Float as needed to Medical, Telemetry, and related units per facility requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, Neuro, or Step-Down setting
Experience with telemetry monitoring and neurological patient populations
Proficiency with Cerner or comparable electronic health record system
Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify as a travel candidate
Ability to start on one of the designated facility orientation dates
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience with stroke, neuro-surgical, or neuro-orthopedic patient populations
Comfort floating to Medical and Telemetry units
Previous travel nursing experience in a hospital setting
