Contract | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Float between various medical and surgical units, including a Medical Unit, a Surgical Acute Unit, and a Cardiovascular Unit
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with unit-specific nurse-to-patient ratios (Medical 1:6, Surgical Acute 1:6, Cardiovascular 1:4)
- Utilize facility EMR system, Pyxis medication dispensing, wound vac, and chest tube equipment
- Complete unit-specific orientation and training for each assigned department
- Adhere to professional nursing attire standards (clean scrubs) and facility dress code policies
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the State of Hawaii (must be obtained by assignment start date)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (up to 10 years preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Documented proof of immunity required; medical and religious exemptions will not be accepted in lieu of documentation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Current PALS certification
- Procedural Sedation, TNCC, or ENPC certification
- Experience floating across medical, surgical, and cardiovascular nursing units
