Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Rotating Shifts (3x12-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Intermediate Care / Step-Down unit setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of care than a general medical-surgical floor
- Interpret and respond to EKG/cardiac rhythm findings as part of ongoing patient monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Rotate shifts as scheduled, including consecutive weekend assignments as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to contract start date
- Must successfully pass an on-site EKG competency test as a condition of the contract
- Experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down unit setting
- Ability to work rotating shifts including days, evenings, and/or nights
- Willingness to work consecutive weekends as operationally required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing or contract nursing experience
- Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation skills
- Experience working in a high-acuity intermediate care environment
